Is the Edge+ Plus compatible to DNB 5G?

The 5G network of DNB in Malaysia is using three bands in total. From these, the Edge+ Plus can use only one.
Of considerable importance is thereby the incompatibility with the sub-GHz frequencies n28. Sub-GHz frequencies are radio waves with physical properties that provide high area coverage and good indoor propagation of 5G. Thus, since the Edge+ Plus cannot use these frequencies on the DNB 5G network, you should expect significantly worse 5G coverage, especially in rural areas and inside of buildings.
Lastly, mmWave bands are not understood by the Edge+ Plus. Thus, you may never experience download speeds faster than 1 Gbps on this network, even though the DNB 5G network is capable of delivering even higher speeds at certain locations. The lack of mmWave bands should be no issue in usual everydays situations. However, it might turn into a problem when visiting large events in stadiums or other overcrowded areas in metropolitan cities.

In addition to these significant flaws, the phone is missing other frequencies, which may not have much, if any, impact on the 5G experience: There are missing a few frequencies offering good indoor coverage with high download speeds and high download speeds in larger cities.
